Like so many people who visit Block Island we often said 'what if?'. My name is Jonathan Berry and in 2018 along with my wife Alisa and children Justin and Carina we took the plunge and moved to Block Island full time. Prior to coming to Block Island I spent 25 years building Software systems during the day while building houses and all the things that go in them at night and on the weekends. Wood craft has always been a passion as is building consumer products combining and using technologies in their creation. For me Block Island Made is an opportunity to showcase my love of creating things with my love of our adopted home. All items are designed, cut, engraved and finished in my workshop overlooking Trim's Pond. I pride myself on flexibility so if you see something of mine you like but want it modified or customized, please reach out and I'll be happy to accommodate if it's possible.

John and Sarah Cullen
After years of living a nomad life traveling & spending our summers working on Block Island and winters working in Colorado we were ready for a change. We decided to start a family and concentrate our efforts on our business which we opened in 1995 in a small space under The National Hotel. We bought our home in 2001 and settled into this small welcoming year round community. Fast forward to 2019 and we now have two teenage boys , three retail stores and love the life we have created and the friends we have made on Block Island!
Block Island Love Candle Co
Block Island deeply inspires me in every way... it has been my number one subject for any creative project or art piece I've ever made all my life. Also, I dreamed about living here year round and now I have since 2011! After coming and going since 1978.
I have been compelled to be creative since I can ever remember and throughout my life I have worked with many areas - paint, photography, collage, crafts, interior design and film produciton design. I have a BFA from Ohio Wesleyan and MAE from College of New Rochelle as well as a Real Estate licence. Also my best achievement the 3 best three kids ever. Will age 19, Sara age 22 and Liz age 29!
So now I present Block Island Love Candle Co. - Handmade on Block Island with lots of Love for this place. They're soy wax base and I use several different fragrance oils with a touch of color. This is only the beginning...I absolutely LOVE making candles and I look forward to you enjoying them!

Block Island Coffee Roasters
I'm an Island girl, a sailor, a carpenter, a mother, and a lover of exploring far away places. I grew up on Block Island and raised my three children there. We sailed around the world from 2005-2010. Since then my life has shifted and changed dramatically. The last 4 years found me divorced, empty nested, building a new house, opening a psychotherapy office, and pursuing my love of coffee. Block Island Coffee Roasters began brewing last fall. I spent the cold and quiet winter months on Block Island experimenting with different coffee beans, roasts, and brews. This season I bring to you the results. I hope you enjoy the end product as much as I have enjoyed the process. If you're on the Island this summer please drop me a line, or visit me at the Farmer's Market for a fresh cup of Block Island's finest java.

Divine Vibes Boutique
Divine Vibes Boutique is a small family run business. The owners are husband and wife team Mary (Roosa) Waring and Andrew Waring. Mary was raised on Block Island from birth and Andrew, who had only been to Block island a handful of times before they met, fell in love with the beauty of the Island and has enjoyed hearing the many stories of what it was like to grow up On BI. Her grandmother, Elva Derby was actually born ON Block Island in an old house on the west side. The image of Block Island holds a special place in our hearts and as well as Mary’s heritage. Mary and Andrew enjoy working with wood (especially cedar) as well as making Jewelry. The couple homeschools 4 young children who keep them very busy. The kids are already mini artisans following in their parents footsteps. They family enjoys creating art and spending time outside in their free time. All of my paintings are inspired by nature, by the sights and sounds of 40 years of walking Block Island roads and beaches. Each season's colors are so beautifully intricate and evoke many feelings. I love abstract impressionistic painting because it allows me to experiment with gesture, movement and emotion, while combining several layers and differing textures of oil paint. Painting for me is a joyful exploration of Block Island's storms, shorelines, sunsets, salt marshes, etc.
Eileen Dinolfo Miller has lived with her family year-round on Block Island for 20 years. She is currently a member of the Spring Street Gallery and taught at RI School of Design.
